 One of the main components of the stabilization was rebuilding the roof structure. This image shows the restored rafters and rafter plate, which were severely deteriorated due to leaks in the roof. In order to retain the original roofline and proportions, we duplicated the shallow depth of the original rafters and the decorative rafter tails with additional, unseen rafters installed in-between to help support the roof load. |
