This barn, a typical two-level, three bay
Pennsylvania stone barn, was built around 1798. The challenge of this
project was to create a functional and attractive residence within
a stone barn while retaining the integrity of the barn as an element
in the historic landscape. This view shows
the south side of the barn after the rehabilitation.
Note the restored pent roof, new stable doors, new synthetic slate
roof, and large thermo-pane windows |
